Ahmed Praised

When I was a senior at University of Maryland, College Park, I interviewed Raaheela Ahmed for the position of a presenter for Partners in Print, a program within the America Reads*America Counts organization that conducts literacy workshops to parents and students in struggling Prince George’s County elementary schools. I was the office manager for the ARAC program and was extremely impressed by Raaheela’s maturity, her passion for educational equality, and her refreshing energy. Even though Raaheela was a freshman, I knew right away that she would be the one to take my position once I graduated because if there was anyone who would give their 110 percent toward a new challenge, it would be Raaheela.

Raaheela is an individual who truly cares and respects each individual she works with. I have never met someone who can simultaneously be so passionate and so humble. If there is anyone who will work for the people of Prince George’s County with the utmost sincerity, it will be Miss Raaheela Ahmed.
